Announcement from Peace Lutheran Church

Dear Peace family,

Peace will not be having choir, Bible Study and regular worship this Sunday, March 15 due to the threat of the coronavirus outbreak in the community. We will also suspend office hours but will still be available via cell phone or email.  This decision was made after careful discussion and prayer by the Peace leadership.

A brief worship opportunity will be offered on the internet—consider this church for this Sunday. Go to Peace’s website at to connect. Our goal is to have the service recorded and posted in time for our members to access the service on our website Sunday morning at 11 am. While we adjust to new life patterns in the days ahead, it is important that we take time to plug into God’s voice to be assured of His promises and love for us. Read God’s Word. Keep reading The Red Letter Challenge. Pray. Sing a hymn. Call a friend and encourage them with a promise of God. Overall, be assured of God’s presence in the midst of today’s challenges.

Be looking for more announcements to be shared on Monday, March 16 regarding future activities at church and worship schedule moving forward. Be safe and stay home with your loved ones. If you have need for pastoral assistance please contact Pastor or Elders.

God’s peace be with us,

Lord Jesus, Bless your people, bless this world with Your protection, Your healing, and Your peace. Grant to us the wisdom to make good decisions, support those who are weak and sick, and trust You for Your blessing. We thank You that You have blessed us with the faith we need to weather any storm and to reflect Your light this dark world. Bless us with Your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
