BIG WEEKEND…………….There has been so much to be thankful in recent weeks at Peace.  The grounds at Peace look fabulous–thank you to all those who volunteered and gave of their time! Easter was another great celebration this year–Jesus lives!  It was great seeing so many people at church and to have pictures of the Easter Egg Hunt on the front page of the Gazette Times.  The Lord has been good to us.

And His goodness continues this weekend.  Please keep all of these events in prayer and participate where you feel led!

BIBLE STUDY AT SCHULZE’S……………(When?  Thursday at 7 pm)  We are continuing to take a look at how Christians are perceived in today’s culture.  How can we change these perceptions and present our Lord Jesus in winsome ways with others?  Tonight we will be discussing the perception that Christians are sheltered.  Throughout history, the church has supported a range of intellectual activity from scientific research to literary contributions.  Are Christians really sheltered?  Lets discuss.  The Schulze’s address is 359 N. 9th Street, Philomath, OR 97370.

BLOOD DRIVE……….(When?  Friday from 1 to 6 pm)  Great to news to share about the blood drive.  Our goal was to have 36 people sign up to participate in the blood drive.  As of last night, we have 41 signed up!  We have reached and surpassed our goal.  Thank you to all who are assisting with this.  Praise the Lord for using us to help with this need.  Pray for those volunteering and those donating that all would go well.

BILL GRAYBILL’S SEMINAR………..(When?  Saturday from 9:00 to 11:30 am)  Bill will be with us to discuss his book, Resolving Conflict God’s Way.  We are going to be discussing the cost and resulting pain of conflict as well as ways to bring healing and restoration.  Bill’s book has been endorsed by Eugene Peterson and Rick Warren.  Invite and share with others this great opportunity at Peace!

WORSHIP AND SUNDAY SCHOOL………(When?  Sunday School at 9:45 and Worship at 11 on Sunday, of course! )  We are back on our normal schedule this Sunday.  Jesus visits Thomas and addresses his doubts.  Jesus does the same for us.  Come and celebrate again the Lord’s goodness!

RANDY PATTERSON MEMORIAL SERVICE……….(When?  Sunday at 3:00 pm)  We will gather to thank the Lord for Randy’s life and claim the promises the Lord offers in death.  Please keep the Leach, Patterson and extended families in prayer.  A reception dinner will be held following the service in the fellowship hall.
