PICNIC.………We are celebrating this Sunday at Peace.  This Sunday marks the ending of our children and youth Sunday School.  After worship we will be serving hamburgers and hot dots on the patio.  Come and enjoy a great time with your Peace family.

We are also taking time to honor the graduates at Peace.  Consider giving a gift, writing a card or a note of encouragement to each of them.  The ladies guild has prepared bags to collect cards and other goodies you may bring for them.  Those graduating this year include:

Casey Croy

Noah Frank

Clark Hellesto

Justin Johnson

Kai Miner

I also encourage each one of us to consider asking a different question to our graduates.  What is often asked of graduates is the standard question, “What are you going to be doing?”  I like this question better, “What is God calling you towards?”  The reality is that God has a place and plan for each of our graduates.  We too often make our plans without recognizing God’s role and design.

On that note, please pray for our graduates!  We are so proud of them and the role God promises to play in their lives moving forward.

TABLES OF PEACE………The sign up for Tables of Peace is on the bulletin board at Peace.  Sign up soon to reserve a spot.  And if you would like to host, please put a star by your name.  Tables of Peace is a ministry that allows the Peace family to get to know each other better.  Groups of eight are formed and a meal or dessert is shared.  Time is also set aside for focused discussion and sharing.

BLOOD DRIVE………….Yes, there is another blood drive coming to Peace.  It will be on Friday, June 23 from 1 pm to 6 pm in the Fellowship Hall.  To schedule an appointment, contact Marilyn Schmidt (541-740-7955), visit redcrossblood.org, or call the Red Cross at 1-800-733-2767.
